Who is responsible
I, Didi Konings, am responsible for the personal data I receive through this website.
- Name: Didi Konings
- Address: Sporenring 248-06, 5053 EZ Goirle, the Netherlands
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: [KvK-nummer]
- Email: pa@didikonings.nl
Which data I use, and what for
When you send a message through the website
In the contact form and in the interest form on a work's page, you enter your name, your email address and your question, and sometimes your phone number or another field shown on the form. With the interest form, the site also records which work your question is about.
Your message reaches me by email and is also stored in the protected admin area of this website, so it is not lost if an email fails to arrive. I use your data only to answer your question and, if you want to buy a work, to complete that purchase. This is permitted because you ask for contact yourself and because it is necessary for a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you email, call or send a WhatsApp message
I then receive the data you share yourself, such as your name, email address or phone number. I use it in the same way: to reply to you.
When you buy a work
For the purchase, payment and delivery I need your name, address and payment details. I keep these in my records because the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To protect the website
To protect the forms against spam, the server briefly remembers your IP address so it can block too many messages in a row. That IP address is not stored in the database. If the server recognises a message as spam, it writes the IP address to its log. I do this out of my interest in a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and what your browser remembers
This website uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no visitor statistics. The fonts are hosted on the website itself: your browser does not fetch them from Google.
So that the opening quote does not reappear on every page, your browser remembers during your visit that you have already been here (under the name didi-bezocht). This is stored only in your own browser, is not sent anywhere and disappears when you close the tab or the browser. If this storage is disabled in your browser, the site uses a cookie with the same name for the same purpose, which also disappears when you close the browser. No consent is required for such functional storage.
Services provided by others
- Hosting and email. The website is hosted by [naam hostingpartij] and email runs through [naam e-mailprovider]. They process data only on my instructions.
- Vimeo. The films on this website are played through Vimeo. As soon as a film loads, your browser connects to Vimeo, which sees your IP address, among other things. The player is set to "do not track", so Vimeo does not record your viewing behaviour. Vimeo is based in the United States; read the Vimeo privacy policy.
- Spam filter. If there is a Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha check below the contact form, your browser sends data such as your IP address to that service to determine whether you are human. Read the privacy policy of Cloudflare or hCaptcha.
- Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. This website contains ordinary links to Instagram and buttons to share a work via WhatsApp or Facebook. They load nothing from those services in advance. Only when you click them do you go to their website or app, and their privacy policy then applies.
I never sell your data and do not share it with others, unless the law requires it.
How long I keep data
- Messages via the website, email or WhatsApp: up to twelve months after your question has been dealt with.
- Purchase data: seven years, as long as the statutory tax retention period.
- IP addresses for spam protection: in the server's memory only as long as needed to block too many messages, and in the log no longer than necessary for security.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https). The admin area, where messages are stored, is only accessible with a personal account and password.
Your rights
You may always ask which data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its use, ask me to restrict its use, or request your data in order to pass it on to someone else. To do so, send an email to pa@didikonings.nl; you will receive a reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, please let me know first. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
This privacy policy may change, for example when something is added to the website. The top of this page shows when it was last updated.
